These nice flowers were everywhere

I started cycling today at 6:30 a.m. The weather was cloudy and I thought it probably would start to rain. But I was lucky, and actually it didn´t rain at all all day. There was quite a lot of traffic – many big trucks with double trailers.

The road still empty

150 km (93 miles) – Total so far: 620 km (385 miles)

I knew today would be a long ride so I decided to start very early. At 5:30a.m. I was on my way. The town was sleeping-only a few people on the street. The road was going up and down as usual but in the begining there was something I enjoyed: as it was still dark, you just couldn´t see anything. So I was just feeling the course of the road, wether it was going up or down. Somehow this was nice.

Nice name of a village

I thought I would sleep longer today but at about 6 o´clock I was awake. Couldn´t sleep anymore so I just got up, carried the bike and the stuff downstairs and about 7:30 was back on my bike. At the main plaza I still saw some people hanging out from last night´s celebration who didn´t find their way home, yet. They still seemed to be very happy.

Yes we are on the road too

114 km (71 miles) – Total so far: 291 km (181 miles)

Wow- I woke up at 5 o´clock already and one hour later I was pedaling. I had to ask people to find the road I wanted to to take. There was a small secondary road that seemed to be a quiet option to the main road, but google maps (installed on my mobil) was sending me to I don t know where. But with the help of the people I found it.

Having a break in a small village

82 km (51 miles) – Total so far: 177 km (110 miles)

I really slept good tonight, even didn´t hear my alarm ringing in the morning. Still I was awake early enough for holidays at 6:20. My usual morning ritual followed: packing my bike and leaving the posada to buy some breakfast and provisions for the day. It was 7 o´clock when I left heading for downtown.
