I really slept good tonight, even didn´t hear my alarm ringing in the morning. Still I was awake early enough for holidays at 6:20. My usual morning ritual followed: packing my bike and leaving the posada to buy some breakfast and provisions for the day. It was 7 o´clock when I left heading for downtown.
I found my favourite allround-food: breakfast, snack, lunch – everything: I bought some bananas.
The road was o.k., very little traffic, nothing special. I stopped in a small village to have a coconut and a corn. The locals seem to be very poor people here and I had some nice, small chats with them. Temperature was hot and some times it seemed like it would start to rain but it didn´t. I was lucky.
At one o´clock I already arrived in Tizimin and I went to look for the best place in town Hotel San Carlos. (At least that´s what you can read). I had to ask several times before I got the right direction.
It´s really quite a nice hotel. I went to the center to eat something and took some pictures. There´s not much to do here in Tizimin. Afterwards I found a supermarket and I bought some stuff for tomorrow. Maybe I can leave tomorrow a little be earlier, as the stretch is a little bit longer than today. But anyway – no need to hurry.
