We already have to say bye-bye Mexico. Time always goes so fast. While packing the bikes I was thinking about the passed 3 weeks and our trip.
Mexico is an absolutely nice country.
Akumal – Cancun: Our last day cycling

The last day cycling started early. As we knew, there were more than one hundred km to go we tried to do some km without sun and heat.
Akumal: Second day off
In the morning it was a little bit cloudy but not cold. After the breakfast we chilled at the pool.

After waking up at 8.30am we went for breakfast.

Coba: Visiting The ancient Maya ruins with the highest pyramid of Yucatan 42mts
A little bit of culture today…We visitedthe ancient Maya ruins of Coba. It´s not a very big archeological site, but here you find the highest Maya pyramid of Yucatan, the Nohoch Mul Pyramid.

Valladolid – Coba: Changing our plans

Originally we wanted to cycle to „Nueva X-Can“ and from there to „Puerto Morelos“. After talking to this cyclist from Mexico yesterday we thought it would be better if we changed our plans.

Today was a very relaxed day. We slept long, had a nice breakfast at the main square, the Zocalo, how they say here.

Peto – Valladolid: Brand new road through forgotten Maya villages

We left Peto very early. It was incredible cold, maybe 10°C. We had to put on our windstopper jackets for the first time and still it felt quite fresh.
