The day started on a nice road that led us away from Dzilam de Bravo through beautiful water landscapes with any kind of birds. The air was still fresh and the sun was shining – perfect weather for cycling. The bikes rolled like automatically.

Starting from our hostel a little late and after the usual short „taking supplies stop“ at a tiny supermarket we started our way.

 72 km (45 miles) – Total so far: 163 km (101 miles)

At 8 am we started, had a short stop at the Minisupermarket to provide us with water, bananas and peanuts and on we went to the small village of „El Cuyo“ right on the sea. Cycling was nice and easy, almost no traffic and good roads.
