Saturday 10th, February 2018
This morning I slept a little bit longer, until 9 a.m.
Like usual I had breakfast at 10a.m.I enjoyed the Sri Lankan food an the beautiful view of the landscape from my breakfast table.
I decided to check the bike. I cleaned the chain, put some oil and checked all the screws. Everything was o. k.
Afterwards I just hung out on my terrace, listened to my mp3 music and chatted with Richard.
He told me that for today’s elections he has to go to another town 50kms away to give his vote for he is registered there. He would be back in the evening.
I thought how easy it is for us to vote, some 10 minutes around the corner. (But still we manage to complain).
The rest of the day I chilled on the terrace of my room enjoying some tea. I’m happy that tomorrow I’m back on the road.
Referring to Ella, I know it is a touristic magnet, but I would not recommend to stay here. It’s crowded and overpriced. If you plan to visit this region better stay in Haputale, which is much nicer and less crowded.
