Chillling in San Antonio

Wednesday January 5, 2011
Today we enjoyed sleeping until 9am.After having a typical argentinian breakfast mate with medialunas(pastries) we took a walk through the village.

There`s not a real market in San Antonio, but you can buy the typical handicrafts like pullovers, gloves and knitted small llamas everywhere on mainstreet.

Stuff is a little bit more expensive than in other parts of the north, so one should bargain the prices well. There`s not much to do in San Antonio, but for a rest day it`s perfect.

Tomorrow we are starting the famous Ruta 40,the longest and oldest road through Argentina.
