At 5 o´clock my alarm was ringing and one hour later I was already pedaling. When I cycled my way out of the city I needed to do a small stretch on the ring road around the town and I had to pass some bridges. There was already a lot of traffic and the car drivers were freaking out because I was riding there on their road. Surely made a lot of friends today!
The weather was chilly about 16C° and I was so happy to have my new clothes! The road was going up and down like always. Then suddenly something scaring happened: I passed some trucks that had stopped beside the road and suddenly – without barking – a huge rottweiler dog came running from between the trucks out on the road. Holy shit!!!! Thanks god he was tied with a rope to the truck……
The air was foggy until the sun came out at about 08:30am and I was really thankful for some sunbeams to warm me up. The road began to climb. Very slowly but constantly. I did 1655 m of altitude difference today!
On the way I got myself a coconut and I really enjoyed drinking it. They taste awesome, I just love them.
When I got to the city it didn´t stop with the climbing. There were also hills everywhere – amazing. The first posada I asked for a room was booked, so I looked around to find another hotel and finally I got one.
After my shower I went to see the zocalo and found that it was nothing special – just the same like everywhere. I bought some stuff at the supermarket and for dinner I chose a real restaurant! Spagetthis with chicken. The food was delicious! (I was so hungry, maybe anything would have tasted delicious!) I came back to my room and I was so tired, I went to sleep at 21 o´clock.
