Today the second daughter of Matilde took us to mountains around Mendoza on the old road to Chile. It´s just a great landscape with great views and impressing sceneries. The road ends at „Cacheuta thermal springs“ and we walked around there.
We went further on to the dam called „Potrerillo“, also a wonderful lake where people go to fish or just to swim. The weather suddenly changed and there was heavy rain and fog when we went back-you never know in the mountains. In the evening we stayed in the daughter´s house, Matilde brought homemade Pizza and Empanadas- the whole family gathered again, all the kids, nephews,nieces and grandchildren.
At night they all went to Matilde´s house to see our bikes, really an absolutely amazing family, so warm and welcoming. It´s going to be hard to say good-bye tomorrow!
