Another day, another weather. Sunshine again. We had a wonderful breakfast with scrambled eggs, rotis (meal mixed with milled coconut-looks like a small pancake), Dhal curry, spicy ground coconut and fresh fuit. We really enjoy the food here, everything is just delicious and always fresh made.
In Trincomalee we took a walk through the town. They have a real old cementery here where people of the 19th century are buried. Here we saw the first deers laying peacefully between the graves, but as we noticed later on, you can find them everywhere here in Trincomalee. Everyone respects them, and they seem to know that, for they don´t even move when you get close.
We never saw anything like that before-well, every town has its specials.
Besides there is not really much to see here. They have an old fortress built by the Portuguese in 1627, but it´s not very impressing.
In summer it seems to be popular here for the beach with diving and snorkeling.
