At Christmas, 24th of December I started my trip with the flight to Bangkok with KLM airline.
Although the flight was easy, without any problems I couldn’t sleep – also two bottles of red wine couldn’t help that….
At 10am I arrived in Bangkok – enough time to get my luggage, do the immigration stuff and to check in everything for my connection flight to Chiang Mai.
For my 13kg extra weight (30kg were allowed) they charged me 20$ which I found was o. k. Everything went fine and at about 15:30 I was in my room in the Trigon Residence Hotel in Chiang Mai.
I already knew the hotel from a trip 8 years ago, and I had booked it in advance over booking.com.
After a shower I went to eat and then reassembled the bike. At 11pm I was dead and finally went to bed. A long day.
