Shit happens! My alarm sounded at 5 o´clock in the morning. I forgot to turn it off yesterday…..but I managed to fall asleep again, at least until 9 . I went down to pay my room for the night and I discovered that there were only 150 pesos left in my pockets.
Again: Shit! What saved me are the 25USD cash I brought with me. (But: one must know, that there is not a single ATM here in Chable) In the hotel they said, that there´s a shop where they might change it and I went there. The employe first had to look for the owner. She came and said I can buy stuff in her shop and pay with dollars, but of course she gave me the worst currency rate.
This village is half as big as the New York cemetery and twice as dead…there´s nothing to do at all. There´s so much poverty and it´s such an ugly village. I decided just to chill in my room, to load all my electric equipment (mp3, gopro,batteries and so on) and to watch some TV. I read the news online to stay up to date about what is happening in the world while I´m sitting on my bike, but in fact it´s rather sad.
Actually not really much better than this nice view that I have when I look outside my hotel room. Better let nature lift your soul up while pedaling!!
