What a night!On the camping at Amaicha del Valle people were partying all the night with loud music and chatting everywhere.We didn t get too much sleep and got up before the alarm clock rang at 5:30am.The pavement of the road continued to be as bad as before,but as a difference to the way to Amaicha now the climbing began to be really steep.
And the road was climbing and climbing and climbing-it seemed to be endlessly.The average ascending was about 11%! Getting close to the top at 3095m sea level suddenly the weather conditions changed.It was getting foggy and cold 13°C!!.On the top we couldn t see more than ten meters.We got ready for the downhill putting our jackets and all warm clothes we had.Finally we had to go very slowly because of the bad sight and also the road was under construction- very frustrating after the hard climbing.
At least the last 1000m the sky was clearing up and it wasn t so cold anymore.At Tafi del Valle we found a nice hotel in the city center called Lunahuana.We took a shower and went to town to eat.
