I thought I would sleep longer today but at about 6 o´clock I was awake. Couldn´t sleep anymore so I just got up, carried the bike and the stuff downstairs and about 7:30 was back on my bike. At the main plaza I still saw some people hanging out from last night´s celebration who didn´t find their way home, yet. They still seemed to be very happy.
I pedaled on and I found the road without problems.The pavement seemed new with big shoulders on the right and left side, but also a little bit boring. There were also a lot of ups and downs like yesterday but the difference was, today I had to fight some strong headwind. Although I was going slowly, at 11 o´clock I already arrived in the small town of Jose Maria Morelos. The posada I found was simple and clean. I took a shower and then I had to look after my botty (I already suffer the pavian or baboon syndrome). So I went to the pharmacy, and I treat this very important part of the body now with baby ointment…..
Afterwards I uploaded some images to my mac and relaxed by watching TV and having a little siesta. Later on, like yesterday I went to look for a restaurant or a place to eat. Seemed to be a repetition: like yesterday, I found everything closed. The only thing one could get was a pizza, but that thing looked so fatty and cheap, that I preferred the local supermarket…. I bought some tortillas, beens and some turkey cold meat, but I hope tomorrow on the way I can get some bananas somewhere. They are my main food while I´m cycling.
When I got home I watched some tv and I went to sleep early. Tomorrow will be a long distance to pedal. I think some 150kms.
