I enjoyed sleeping until 10:30 in the morning. After breakfast I checked the weather forecast and it looks like the weather on my future cycling route will not be much better than it is at the moment. I thought of alternatives. Going to Oaxaca meant to cross but some mountains.
II would need more time, because you can´t do as many kms in the mountains as on a flat road (whereat „flat“ is a relative term here in Mexico!). But I want to be in Mexico City by the 25th of january. Could turn out to be hectic, so I rejected this option.
I think I´m going to take it like it is – my only hope is, that there won´t be too much rain while I´m cycling.
At midday I explored the market of Coatzacalcos and already bought some bananas for tomorrow. I was strolling along the boardwalk. They have a big breakwater here with a length of 1km, but it was not allowed to walk on it because of the weather and the big waves. It was really f…windy.
I returned tomy room and I started to pack my stuff for tomorrow already. Later on I was chilling, just watching some TV before I went out to have dinner. Today I went to bed soon, because I wanted to start early the next morning.
