Florida-Minas: On and on up and down the road

124 km (77 miles) – Total so far: 613 km (381 miles)

Today no headwinds. We started early at 7.30 o´clock for there were about 120km to go to Minas.

All the way on secondary roads we were cycling through the typical uruguayan pampas. As always, there was little traffic. The few vehicles that passed us were mostly some heavy loaded trucks full of wood or animals such as cows and horses.
At midday we had a relaxed one hour lunch break in the little town of Tala and arrived finally at Minas without any problems.
It was a long and hot ride, so for dinner again we decided to have some of the good meat Uruguay has to offer.

The owner of our hostel (Posada Verdun) recommended us to a place where they served a really excellent „Lomo a la parilla“ and some fresh salad. What an awesome reward!!!!
