We took it easy this morning, sleeping until 9.00, then a wonderful breakfast. Feels like holidays!! Our guesthouse owner Milton had arranged a jeep-tour through the „Kaudulla Nationalpark“ for this afternoon, so we were supposed to see some elephants! We went together with the canadian couple from the room next door and it was really fun.
There were some amount of other jeeps already when we arrived, it was not exactly the „lonesome hero jungle feeling“. But the off road tracks in the park were adventurous although.
At a lake we finally were lucky to see some over 150 elephants, which was awesome! Further there were different kind of birds, monkeys and also a crocodile. A really nice trip. In the evening – surprise, surprise – homemade rice and curry; We love it !!!
